A Living Library,
THE LIBRARY OF LIFE

And for this week, in celebration of its release, everything is 50% off! (coupon code: unveil)

Y’all have been asking for quite some time and it is finally here!

I have been , like no doubt many of us, library obsessed since the time I was a child. I have been so fortunate to have browsed some of the worlds most exquisite homes to these worlds unto themselves otherwise known as books, and what on earth is not more evocative of the under-over-and-through currents of existence than being in the presence of all that?!

I find the library to be the perfect analogy of what it is we do on these yoga mats.

Very personally, as many of y’all know, the yoga I engage is a little different, so this is a way of cataloguing movement and recording options for you that vary wildly so that you can get to every last angle of fascial possibility.

But where I find the metaphor to be most potent is when we begin to literally unpack, take down from the shelf, turn page after page, and reveal what is stacked, ceiling high, in this body-mind bibliotheca. What we begin to glean when we take the time to read the messages written on these bones, hear the secrets rushing down the corridors of the psyche, and dog-ear or highlight the places that we want to return to again and again and again, because they bring such resounding truth to our sphere that we could bathe in their wisdom for days on end…. this is knowledge of the most exquisite sort and where the real fun begins!

These practices are for you, -that you might listen in and learn from the library that is housed right inside that beautiful home that is your body. Decipher the body words of sensation, emotion, and delight.

Research, reread, and relish, every word of every movement of every angle of bodymindbones.

I’ll meet you in the library…

How it works:

~ Chose from the list of 3 categories:

Guided Meditation, Artful Vinyasa Flow, or Restorative/Yin Mash-up.

~ For this week only use the coupon ‘unveil’ to get 50% off all class courses!

~ Enjoy the first chapter which lists and names the literary, historical, or artistic references made in the class.

~ The second chapter will be the class recording itself.

~ You have 3 months to access this same class, so you can use it multiple times if you like, to track your progress and really embody the spaces explored.

Some suggestions to enhance your experience:

~ Take the time to create a sacred space- whatever that may mean to you.

~ Have on hand props, pillows, blankets, eye pillows, and anything else that might feel cozy to use for support and comfort.

~ Please pause, replay, play again, anything that feels confusing or that you want to dive deeper into.

~ Make these poses your own/ go for variations/ do bits and pieces of - keep exploring until it gives you that yumyes feel!
