: : the light in the dark & 4 chambered brilliance~ invitation to tumble in
We have seasons when we flourish and seasons when the leaves fall from us, revealing our bare bones. Given time, they grow again.
~ Katherine May
Yesterday at dance, our fearless leader dropped this simple statement that has oh so profound reverberations: “sometimes we have to move back in order to move forward.” Anyone that has gleaned the benefits of therapy or deep somatic work knows the truth of these words. If we expect ourselves not to repeat history, or find ourselves agitated at externals, it might be a wonderful time to drop in a layer deeper with yourself (not at the expensive of, or as replacement for our outer activism), and uncover subterranean seeds that might have gone wayward with any number of life’s diverging paths.
As the skeleton of the tree reveals her humble truth of form, moving in to our own skeleton and heeding invitations of shorter days and longer nights, leaves an earth and soul transformed. We all know what spring can bring. The synonymous bounce-back of inner you is just as boisterous when we are given the deep nourishment of barebone living.
We have a few spots remaining for the Wintering Nourishment Retreat this year~
Dec 5-7.
By far, this is one of my favorite things to be a part of all year. Silent morning practices for depth of presence, landing and contemplation as well as slumber-party style camaraderie and joyous connection make this retreat unique and perfect for a reset between the bustle of holiday activity. Nestled high on the hill with gorgeous views and nature all around, and catered by nourishing and clean cuisine, it is hard not to fall in love with land, one another, and yourself, all over again. Grab a bud or meet one there. We would love to have you join.
~ Nourished to the Bone ~
A retreat for women to find deep rest, refined replenishment, and soul level restoration through yoga, food, gifts from the earth, sisterhood & meditation.
The holidays are a time when we all give so much to so many and can often times run ourselves ragged, overindulge, and get distracted from what matters to us most.
Smack dab in the middle of it all, this retreat is designed to help you come back to yourself, connect to your body and heart, connect to your practices, and therefore move into the season and back into your spheres with alignment to what it is you care about most and with the energy you most want to give it. Sometimes we can find that more sufficiently when we tuck ourselves away for a minute.
From the perch of a beautiful goddess den on the outskirts of Boulder, you can expect all of the following:
• Daily yoga sessions
• Daily meditative practices
• Hiking excursions
• Inspirational and poetry-laden teachings
• Free time to reflect and rejuvenate
• 3 daily delicious and nourishing meals prepped by sister and goddess, Juliette
• 2 nights' accommodation in gorgeous abode
• Sauna with the best views in town
• Women coming together to do that thing that we do- enjoy the heck out of each other and restore balance to the universe ;)
Pricing as follows:
master bedroom- 875 each
rooms with queen bed- 775 each or reserve the full room for 1025
plush futon star room - 675
** We still have one spot available for partial pay/trade/assistance.
This is a time when we don’t fight the currents of the season but rather fall into their rhythms with curious and quiet containment.
There is much to hear in the quiet, loads to see in the dark.
Won’t you feel your way deeper into the depth of 4 chambered brilliance (your heart) alongside a crew of extraordinary women? I know I will.
